Culture Clash at Hix

Brintons had an incredible couple of days at HIX 2025 connecting with so many talented minds across the design community.  This year's show theme was Culture Clash and we brought this vision to life by showcasing Brintons’ collections from around the world, each inspired by the rich stories, textures, and traditions of different cultures.

Our inspiring, thought-provoking panel talk, brought together an incredible line-up of guest speakers from across the industry who set out to examine how cultural differences shape global contemporary hospitality design.

Alongside Brintons’ Design Manager, Jodie Hatton, Design Insider’s Editorial Director, Alys Bryan welcomed special guest speakers, Agnus Lau, Senior Designer at Conran and partners and Sam Hall, Director of Interior Design Europe at IHG.

Together, the panel explored how hotels can reflect their local context while remaining accessible and inviting to a global audience, whose expectations are increasingly shaped by diverse travel habits, lifestyles, and cultural norms.

The discussion sparked great conversation, shared valuable perspectives, and created a real buzz on the stand throughout the event.  If you’d like to hear all the insights from our panel, click the link below to watch full talk.

It was a great opportunity for visitors to get a first look at our new inspirational design collection, Urban Intricacies.

Created in collaboration with textile graduate, Talisha Fiaz, the collection explores culture and the designs aim to promote celebrating the beauty in the areas in which we grow up and take pride in the places where we come from ensuring that they will become meaningful heirlooms to future generations.
